Does Your Event Have a Visual Concept — or Just a Venue?

Betaipixel's stand-alone design service provides creative direction, moodboard production, decor sourcing, and on-day art direction for clients who need a designer, not a full planner.

Creative Direction as a Standalone Engagement

Not every client needs Betaipixel to manage logistics from the ground up. Some organisations have internal event teams or trusted suppliers in place but lack the design expertise to establish a cohesive visual concept. Our event design service fills that gap. We receive your brief — including event type, guest count, existing commitments, and any brand or personal references — and return a complete design package: a written design rationale, a digital moodboard, a colour and material specification sheet, a decor sourcing list with supplier contacts in western Kenya, and a setup guide for your on-site crew. For clients who want us present on the day, we offer an art direction add-on where a Betaipixel designer oversees setup and ensures the installed environment matches the approved concept.

What the Design Package Delivers

A structured, documented set of creative assets your team or external crew can execute with precision.

Written Design Rationale

A 2–3 page document explaining the creative concept, the palette choices, the spatial references, and how the design decisions support the event's purpose — whether that is brand presentation, celebration, or ceremony.

Digital Moodboard

A curated visual reference board covering colour swatches, texture samples, lighting references, decor photography, and floral direction — produced in a shareable format for internal approvals.

Decor Sourcing List

A detailed list of decor items with local supplier contacts, approximate pricing in Kenyan Shillings, and lead times — enabling your procurement team to purchase or hire with accurate cost expectations.

On-Day Art Direction (Add-On)

A Betaipixel designer attends setup to direct placement, adjust lighting, review floral installation, and sign off on the space before guests arrive — ensuring the installed environment matches the approved moodboard.

“We had our venue and catering locked in but genuinely did not know how to make the space look intentional. Betaipixel produced a design package in one week that our setup crew could follow without any ambiguity. The violet-creative palette they specified transformed a plain conference room into something that felt considered and specific to our organisation.”
